How much does private dining cost in Portland?
SpotPrivate's September 2026 check of 10 rooms found most Portland private dining rooms publish a minimum spend between $1,000 and $1,500 (median $1,200). For 20 guests, the median minimum on SpotPrivate is $1,350. Rooms priced per person on SpotPrivate run about $80 a guest. Figures are venue-published planning prices, not quotes; tax, service charge and menus are confirmed by the venue.
What counts as published pricing?
A room is included when SpotPrivate has a venue-published minimum spend, food-and-beverage minimum, room fee or per-person minimum. Missing pricing is never filled with an estimate.
What is a minimum spend?
A minimum spend is generally the amount the venue requires the event to spend, often on food and beverage. It is not the same thing as a room rental fee.
Why not publish one average event price?
Because minimum spends, room fees and per-person menu prices are different commercial terms. SpotPrivate reports them separately so the comparison stays meaningful.
Are these final quotes?
No. These are published planning figures. The venue confirms availability, menus, taxes, service charges, deposits and current event terms for the specific date.
Give us your date and group size.
SpotPrivate can match rooms that fit and ask the venues you choose to confirm the current terms.
